While it’s not a kill or a catch, it was an important day for our farm. We live in Moss, Mississippi just North of Laurel.
3 years ago a neighbor gifted us a sick heifer that was too weak to even stand. We spent weeks nursing her back to health and helping her learn to stand again. Eventually she was able to stand on her own and this past Fall delivered our farm’s first calf ever.
Truly a miracle and loved we were able to share the experience with our two girls. The farm and outdoor future is looking bright in Mississippi!
