Crappie fishing and chasing the spawn is one of my favorite times of year. With a quick afternoon to jump on the water the afternoon did not disappoint. I was catching a few on jigs and switched to a simple bobber and minnow set-up! What fun to watch the floats disappear under the surface and set the hook on a slab!
81 yrs old and still loves to pull in the slabs. Good times with my dad, gonna sure miss them when their gone.
Training is underway for Bayou Bluey (6 mos.) and grandson Huxley (3 yrs.), both expected to pass with flying colors.
