I shot this 250lb 10 point guy with a drop tine in Copiah county. My adrenaline was so high that I wasn’t even sure if I hit him when I shot.
I waited about thirty minutes to track him. No sight of blood after about 40 yards, but I kept walking the direction he ran and found him dead.
He grew more and more every time I looked at him. Once in a lifetime! I’ll be lucky if I ever see another one like him.
He was green scored at 160 inches by Vicksburg taxidermist, Michael Fuson.
